PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass article for automobiles which has small reflectivity and small stimulus purity of reflected light at high incident angles as well as small reflectivity and small stimulus purity of reflected light at low incident angles and has improved visibility. SOLUTION: A first thin film layer, being counted from the glass surface side, having a refractive index (n1) of 1.65-2.20 and a thickness of 110-150 nm is provided on at least on one surface of a transparent glass base body, and a thin film layer mainly comprising silica and having a refractive index (n2) of 1.37-1.49 and a thickness of 81-100 nm is laminated and coated as a second layer on the first thin film layer. When visible light is made incident from the film surface side with the angles of 12 deg. and 60 deg., reflected light shows a stimulus purity of <=22% and <=10%, respectively. |
