PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a sheet lid from being peeled off entirely by an inadvertent motion even in the case where the sheet lid is pulled carelessly for a cup-like container covered with the sheet lid for housing instant food or the like. SOLUTION: At least an area close to an unsealing tab 11 of a heat sealing part at the reverse side of a sheet lid 10 is formed of a weak heat seal layer 105 where the adhesive force is relatively weak. A part other than the weak heat seal layer is formed of a strong heat seal layer where the adhesive force is relatively strong. The weak heat seal layer 105 provided being close to the unsealing tab 11 is formed in an area wherewith an opening in a size which does not interfere with pouring-in of hot water is formed when the sheet lid is peeled off to an extent corresponding to the weak heat seal layer.
