PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a degree of design freedom in extent of a house having a Tatami-laid living room for realizing a life style of floor sitting for sitting on a floor surface by imparting a degree of design freedom in extent of the living rool by arranging a wooden floor part, and arranging furniture on a wooden floor. SOLUTION: A wooden floor 34 having an optional extent is designed by surrounding the whole periphery of a Tatami area 31 to improve a degree of design freedom of a living room 3. In this case, a boundary line between the Tatami area 31 and a wooden floor 34 coincides with the front edge of furniture in a state of arranging the furniture on the wooden floor 34 by adjusting a width dimension of the wooden floor 34 to a depth dimension of the furniture. Thus, the furniture is arranged in an excellent outward appearance state to avoid damage of a Tatami 31a so that the living room 3 can be designed in an optimal extent according to a demand of residents and the size of a site. A window 37 for sweepings is arranged in a wall 33 facing to a garden 8 among the wall 33 for surrounding the living room 3, and the edge side 38 is arranged outside to impart a continuous feeling of a wooden floor 34 part and the edge side 38 to thereby obtain a continuous feeling of an inside space of the living room 3 and the garden 8 to produce a relaxed feeling of the living room 3.
