PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate external attachment of an external supply device even to a side having no recording material feed path in an image forming device body, to minimize a space, and to reduce remodeling portions including a control part or the like. SOLUTION: This image forming device has an image forming body 1 including both a built-in recording material supply part 2 for supplying a recording material P and a built-in image forming part 3 for forming an image on the recording material P; a external supply device 4 externally attached to the image forming device body 1, for supplying the recording material P to the image forming body 1; and a recording material feeder 5 replaced with the built-in recording material supply part 2 and built in the image forming device body 1, for feeding the recording material P supplied from the external supply device 4 to the image forming part 3.
