PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable pulling of a power source cord of a dishwasher out from near a plug socket by housing it on a base plate. SOLUTION: In this dishwasher 1, a dish washing chamber 3 having washing nozzles 6 and 8 and rinsing nozzles 7 and 9 is disposed at an upper part thereof, and a machine room 4 which has a washing tank 10, a washing water pump 12 for supplying washing water in the washing tank to the washing nozzles 6 and 8, a ringing tank 13 and a rinsing water pump 15 for supplying rinsing water in the rinsing tank to rinsing nozzles 7 and 9 at a lower part thereof is provided. A power source cord is pulled out of a base plate 4A of the machine room. A bent part 23 is provided on the base plate 4A of the machine room 4 to house the power source cord on the outer circumferential rim thereof.
