PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the speed for color converting processing of image data and interpreted data in a drawing processing apparatus. SOLUTION: A constitutional color number discriminating part 2A for discriminating whether image data and interpreted data are constituted of a single color in an input analyzing part 1 is arranged between the input analyzing part 2A and an image control part 2. When this image data is judged to be constituted of a single color, a part of color converting processing having been performed with respect to the whole unit region of the image data is omitted and, since the same value as the result of color converting processing is used with respect to the omitted region, a color converting processing speed can be increased.
