PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulating container which can be easily fabricated at low cost and provide a method for fabricating the same. SOLUTION: In the method for fabricating an insulating container wherein a radiation preventing film 10 is stuck on the outer surface of an inner container 2 which is put into an outer container, by leaving a space 4 therebetween, and the containers 2, 3 are joined to each other by means of mouth parts 2c, 3c, a positioning mark 9 is provided on the outer surface of the container 2, and when the film 10 is stuck on the outer surface of the container 2, an end of the film 10 is aligned with the mark 9 and the film 10 is wrapped around the container 2, while the other end thereof is stuck on the outer surface of the container 2.
