PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antibacterial/antimicrobial silicone rubber excellent in both antibacterial and antifungal effects, good in heat resistance and weatherability such as ultraviolet light resistance, and also substantially causing no discoloration of itself and nonhazardous to human health. SOLUTION: This composition comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. of an organopolysiloxane of general formula I: HO(SiR12O)nH (R1 is a 1-10 deg.C univalent hydrocarbon group; n is an integer of >=10) or formula II (R1 and n are each the same as mentioned above; R2 is a 1-10C univalent hydrocarbon group; R3 is a 1-6C univalent hydrocarbon group; m is 0 or 1), (B) 0.1-30 pts.wt. of a silane compound having in one molecule two or more hydrolyzable groups bound to the silicon atom or a partial hydrolyzate thereof, and (C) 0.1-20 pts.wt. of an antimicrobial agent consisting mainly of a ferrous compound.
