PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unleaded gasoline which is excellent in combustibility, in cleanability and low-temperature drivability of an injector and an engine, and in decreasing the amounts of environmental pollutants by specifying the distillation characteristics, aromatic content, olefin content, sulfur content, and oxygen compound content of the same. SOLUTION: This unleaded gasoline has a 50 vol.% distillation temperature of 110 deg.C or lower, a 90 vol.% distillation temperature of 165 deg.C or lower, an aromatic content of 40 vol.% or lower, an olefin content of 25 vol.% or lower, a sulfur content of 480 mass ppm or lower, and an oxygen compound content (in terms of oxygen) of 0-5.3 mass %. Preferably, the sum of the contents of 9C or higher paraffinic hydrocarbon compounds, 9C or higher naphthenic hydrocarbon compounds, 9C or higher olefinic hydrocarbon compounds, and 8C or higher aromatic hydrocarbon compounds is 28 vol.% or lower. Preferably, a detergent-dispersant such as a polyetheramine, a polyalkylamine or succinimide is added to this unleaded gasoline to inhibit injector deposit, etc.
