PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the pressure loss of a transportation pipe, improve the transportation efficiency by a jet flow pump in particular, and prevent the pipe from clogged by a solid material in raising vertically by providing a bypass in the upstream side of a pneumatic transportation pipe and taking the air in the downstream side again. SOLUTION: A bypass 3 is attached from an upstream side transportation pipe to a downstream side transportation pipe of a solid material pneumatic transportation device using a jet flow pump 1 of an outer circumferential nozzle type and a back pressure applied to the upstream side and a suction side is reduced. An upstream-side bypass port 5 is arranged in the upper end side of a horizontal transportation pipe 2 and a downstream-side bypass port 6 is arranged in the lower part of a vertical transportation pipe 4. The bypass port 5 is arranged in the upper end side so that the clogging of the bypass 3 by the solid material can be prevented and fluid of a high driving force for vertically raising the solid material 7 can be taken out. The bypass air is taken in again in the lower part of the vertical pipe 4 so that the driving force for raising the solid material 7 vertically is provided.
