PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a showcase maintaining a high cooling efficiency and being manufacturable at a low cost. SOLUTION: This showcase includes an article compartment 3 formed in the upper portion of a showcase main body, a door 32 for opening and closing the article compartment 3, a machine room 4 formed below the article compartment 3, a rail 7 formed on the upper portion of the front end of the machine room 4 and below the door 32 for receiving condensation dropping from the door 32, a drain pan 6 disposed below the machine room 4, and a second drain pipe 7 through which condensation received in the rail 7 is directly guided to the drain pan 6 without passing through a heat insulating wall 42. The rate at which outside air enters inside the heat insulating wall 42 can thus be reduced.
