PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vulcanized rubber foamed article small in specific modulus (modulus/specific gravity) and compressive set, and excellent in vulcanization properties such as heat resistance, weatherability, ozone resistance and tear strength. SOLUTION: The vulcanized rubber foamed article can be obtained by subjecting or foaming a vulcanizable rubber composition containing, as the essential component, a copolymer composed of ethylene and/or a 6-20C higherα-olefin and a non-conjugated polyene which has characteristic features of (d) a molar ratio of the ethylene to theα-olefin of 0/100-95/5, (e) an iodine value of 2-80, and (f) an intrinsic viscosity [η], measured in decalin at 135 deg.C, of 0.5-10 dL/g. |
