PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink jet printer for fiber capable of providing a high quality dyeing at a high speed and a low cost. SOLUTION: This ink jet printer is provided by installing plural low density nozzles having a large nozzle hole diameter, and plural high density nozzles having a small nozzle hole diameter loaded on a carrier reciprocally transferring in a crossing direction to the traveling direction of a cloth. A selecting means of the lowdensity nozzles and the high-density nozzles, and a delaying means for a nozzle movement-commanding signal are installed at a printer-controlling device, and it selects the low-density nozzles and the high-density nozzles based on homogeneity of received plural image element signals. The delaying means delays either one of the commands for working of the low-density nozzles or the high-density nozzles. A wide region such as back scenery is dyed with the low-density nozzles. By using deep and thin same colored inks, the conspicuity of dots in a pale color region is prevented.
