PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and safely perform loading work by regulating the advancing direction of a vehicle carrier on a loading space by arranging a regulating rail for regulating a sideways movement of a caster of the vehicle carrier on a floor surface of the loading space. SOLUTION: An automobile 75 is loaded on a loading space 52 of a vehicle carrier 5 by hoisting a wire rope 59 by connecting the wire rope 59 of a winch 54 to a towing ring 23 of a vehicle carrier 1. At this time, even if the automobile 75 is not previously rightly positioned in the center rear of a loading space 52, since a guide rail 57 moves the automobile 75 to the center of the loading space 52 by guiding a caster 18 of the vehicle carrier 1, there is no need to position the automobile so much accurately, so that positioning work is easy. When the vehicle carrier 1 tends to go outside a regulating range by skewing sideways without rectilinearly advanving forward when hoisting the automobile on the loading space 52 by the winch 54, since a regulating rail 56 regulates a sideways movement of the caster 18, the vehicle carrier 1 stays in the regulating range, and moves forward.
