PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the degree of freedom of installation and ease of installation by providing a wider allowable range of mounting angles of a vehicular heat generator to a vehicle body. SOLUTION: An actuation chamber partitioned within a heat generator consists of a heating region containing a rotor, a storage region 8 for viscous fluid, and a boundary opening 9 having a relatively large opening area and communicating both the regions to each other. The boundary opening 9 has a pair of transfer openings 35A, 35B disposed in pint symmetry across the rotational axis C of the rotor, and guide portions 41A, 41B corresponding to both the openings are present in the storage region 8. Since this constitution allows at least one of the pair of transfer openings and the corresponding guide portion to be located below the level L of the viscous fluid regardless of the angle at which the heat generator is mounted, circulation of the viscous fluid for transfer between the heating region and the storage region 8 accompanied with rotation of the rotor is secured.
