<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and efficiently treat waste liquid by providing a first treating means consisting of a reducing agent adding means, a catalyst reducing means or an electrolytic decomposing and reducing means, and a second treating means consisting of an oxidant adding means, an catalyst oxidation means, the electrolytic decomposing and oxidating means or an evaporation treating means. SOLUTION: A reaction tank 1 for adding an reducing agent and reducing where a reducing agent is added to dimethyl sulfoxide (thereafter DMSO)- containing waste liquid to reduce the DMSO is provided as a first treating means, and a reduced water containing DMS, H2S, MM, etc. produced by reducing the DMSO is fed to the second treating means in a post-stage. One or more of the oxidant addition means, the catalyst oxidation means, the electrolytic decomposition and oxidation means and the evaporation treatment, or an aerobic biological treatment means are used as the second treating means. In this way, the DSMO-containing waste water can be easily and efficiently treated by using a chemical or a physical treatment means as at least the first and second treating means.</p> |
