<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treating device using a photocatalyst capable of decomposing in high efficiency harmful components in waste water. SOLUTION: In a reaction vessel having a double pipe consisting of an inner pipe 3 and an outer pipe formed concentrically therewith at its outside and a flow passage of the liq. to be treated is formed between them, a light source 2 provided at the central part of the inner pipe 3, the photocatalyst 1 disposed at the inner wall of the outer pipe and a supply port 7 of the liq. to be treated and a discharge port arranged respectively at an end and the other end of the passage of the liq. to be treated, a passing section of the liq. to be treated in a vicinity of a supply port of the liq. to be treated is made larger than that of the liq. to be treated flowing between the light source 2 and the photocatalyst 1.</p> |
