PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily mold a synthetic resin foamed molded article including no trap or voids in good yield without leaving gas generated during foaming in the foamed molded article so as not to generate the loss of a foamable raw material. SOLUTION: A thermoplastic resin is blown to the opening end on a cavity side of a vent hole 3 in a long fibrous state by a melt blow method when a synthetic resin foamed molded article is produced by foaming a raw material within a cavity to form a three-dimensional reticulated air permeable resin layer, wherein long fibers of a thermoplastic resin are entangled, covering the opening end on the cavity side of the vent hole. By this constitution, a process for preforming an air permeable sheet to cut the same is dispensed with and an air permeable material can be provided so as to cover the opening end of the vent hole certainly and simply without using a special device such as a vacuum suction device for closely bonding and fixing the air permeable material and the synthetic resin foamed molded article can be produced in good yield with good workability.
