PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain further improvement in an SN ratio by permitting array elements to be respectively provided with two antenna elements where sensitivity axial lines are mutually vertical in an antenna array for a magnetic resonance examination, where the array elements are arranged in two strings which are positioned side by side. SOLUTION: Continuous blood vessel display is made with high image quality in an antenna array formed for the magnetic resonance examination of a lower leg without changing the position of a patient. Then it is constituted of the mutually independent array elements 2 which are decreased in connection and the array elements 2 are disposed in the two strings 4 and 6 positioned side by side. The array elements 2 of the respective strings 4 and 6 enclose the upper side part range of the leg and, moreover, cover a part of the under belly of the patient to be inspected in an actual application. Besides, the elements 2 are arranged on an almost one surface by providing the two antenna elements 8 and 10 whose sensitivity curved lines are mutually vertical. In this case, each antenna element 8 is formed as a saddle shape coil and each antenna element 10 is as a ring shape coil.
