PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain corrosion resistance equivalent to that of a strontium chromate by incorporating one type or above selected from a potassium zinc phosphite and a zinc phosphite of wt.% of a specific range and a pearl pigment of wt.% of a specific range in a primer coating layer on a plated steel sheet. SOLUTION: A primer coating layer 2 is formed on a surface side of a plated steel sheet 1 as a base, and the layer 2 is constituted by coating a transparent resin paint such as an acrylic epoxy paint or the like with a paint containing 9 to 13 wt.% or one or more types selected from potassium zinc phosphite, zinc phosphite and zinc phosphate and 10 to 20 wt.% of a pearl pigment and baking it. A transparent coating layer 3 is formed on the layer 2, and a back coating layer 4 is provided on a rear surface side of the sheet 1. Thus, corrosion resistance can be given without using harmful strontium chromate.
