Compositions of introduction, preferably by instillation, into human and animal ears, and a method, for the treatment of otitis externa and otitis media, especially otorrhea. The compositions are non-ototoxic, non-irritating and non-sensitizing. The compositions are aqueous based and contain ciprofloxacin and optionally hydrocortisone.
