PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spacer for a double-layer panel material maintaining performance for a prolonged term by conducting not only moisture absorption but also desorption moisture. SOLUTION: A substance containing a humidity conditioning material formed by thermally treating aluminum hydroxide powder at a temperature of 300-800 deg.C under a decompression atmosphere or thermally treating aluminum hydroxide powder having a mean grain size of 50 μm or less at a temperature of 300-800 deg.C and a moisture conditioning material comprising the dried powder or thermally treated powder of the amorphous molecular aggregate particles of at least one kind of a metallic hydroxide or a metallic sulfide selected from the group consisting of Mg, Al, Ca, Sc, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Ga, Y, Zr, Nb and Mo is used as the spacer. |
