PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circulation type snow melting and removing device by which water in a water reservoir tank installed in the underground or on the ground is pumped up and sprinkled in accordance with snowfall to remove the snow. SOLUTION: It is decided whether a water reservoir tank is installed on the ground or it is embedded in the ground in accordance with the topographic conditions of the ground of a house from the roof of which snowfall is removed. The water in the water reservoir tank 6 is heated up to about 35 degrees by an electric pipe heater and a snow sensor 7 works immediately after snow has begun to fall and the heated hot water is pumped up to the roof by the running of an electrically driven pump 5, to sprinkle it all over the roof face from a sprinkling pipe 1 disposed on the roof and melt snow into water and return it to the reservoir tank 6. During snowfall, this process is repeatedly operated. When snow stops falling, it is brought to a stop by means of the snow sensor 7. When it snows again, a series of operations for melting and removing snow are repeated by the actuation of the snow sensor 7.
