<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floating hose having a sinking preventive mechanism which never sinks even when receiving a damage on a hose outer skin. SOLUTION: This hose is a floating hose having a sinking preventive mechanism on which closed cell belt-like sponges 1, 2 are wound around on a base hose in a plural number of layers with no clearance and the outermost layer upper surfaces of the belt type sponges 1, 2 are covered with outer surface rubber. The belt-like sponges 1, 2 are wound around in the same direction on all of the layers, and a connecting part 3a of the belt-like sponges 1 on each of the layers are not overlapped with a connecting part 3b of belt-like sponges 2 on an adjacent layer. Favourably, an intermediate rubber layer 4 to block intrusion of sea water is arranged at least on one of spaces between the layers of the wound belt-like sponges 1, 2.</p> |
