PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a piezoelectric head driving element with high accuracy and to assemble an piezoelectric head driving structure and a head structure. SOLUTION: An image is recorded by driving a vibrating plate 6 comprising a head structure 3 by a strain displacement operation of a piezoelectric head driving element 14 provided in a piezoelectric head driving structure 4 for generating a volume change in an ink pressure room so as to make ink droplets fly from a nozzle hole 13. The piezoelectric head driving structure 4 comprises the piezoelectric head driving element 14 with a piezoelectric material and an electrode material laminated alternately, and a side base 15 bonded on both side surfaces of the piezoelectric head driving element 14, with a reference part 25 corresponding to a reference plate 5 of the head structure 3 formed. The piezoelectric head driving structure 4 is positioned via the reference part 25 of the side base 15 and the reference plate 5 so as to be assembled directly with the head structure 3.
