PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convey a first workpiece on the upper side of a second workpiece by only slightly modifying a conventional conveying device with a ski for the reduction of plant investment. SOLUTION: This device conveys an outer panel between a first process in which specified work is performed for an outer panel 1 and a second process in which after conveying the outer panel 1 to a stand-by rear fender panel, both panels are assembled. In this case, an interlocking mechanism 300 is provided to hold a receiving tool 34, which is arranged to support the outer panel 1 at a position where the outer panel 1 and the rear fender panel standing-by in the second process are piled up in the vertical direction, on a ski 3 which can move from a regular position to support the outer panel 1 to a position where the receiving tool 34 does not interfere with the stand-by rear fender panel, to move the receiving instrument 34 from the regular position to the non-interference position along with the lowering of the ski 3 and move the receiving tool 34 from the non-interference position to the regular position along with the rising of the ski 3.
