摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which a soft hot rolled wire which is as hot-rolled, and free from any abnormal structure comprising a decarburization phase on a surface layer part is obtained. SOLUTION: A stock steel slab is heated to 900-1250 deg.C, and rolled before the finish rolling without being exposed to the temperature range of 650-750 deg.C in the surface temperature of a material to be rolled over 60 seconds, and finish-rolled with the reduction of area of >=30% and the surface temperature of 700-900 deg.C of the material, and after the finish rolling, the material is immediately cooled so that the surface temperature of the wire is above Ms point and not higher than 850 deg.C, and wound by a laying type winding machine, and deployed on a conveyor at the ring density of 10-50 pieces/m. After the material is cooled until the temperature of a hottest part is <=800 deg.C, the material is re-deployed until the ring density is 150-500 pieces/m, and cooled to 500 deg.C at the cooling speed of 0.15-2 deg.C/second.
