PARTICULATE HOT-MELT ADHESIVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particulate hot-melt adhesive which prevents blocking of the particulate hot-melt adhesive by itself and does not causes the interruption of supply due to blocking in the automatic supply line and exhibits sufficient adhesion even at the cold season. SOLUTION: A hot-melt adhesive has a creep strain of not greater than 1.0 mm represented by an amount which is obtained by placing a hot-melt adhesive A of a plate shape having two parallel sides on a testing stand 1 so as to allow one side of the parallel sides to be brought into contact with the horizontal side of the testing stand, then placing an aluminum cylindrical instrument 2 having a thickness of 0.5 mm and an outer diameter of 45 mm whose lower end side has been cut by the plane perpendicular to its axis on the hot-melt adhesive, applying a load of 8 kg downwardly in the axial direction of the cylindrical instrument in a 30 deg.C environment for 40 hours to allow the cylindrical instrument to sink into the hot-melt adhesive of a plate shape and measuring the amount sunk into the hot-melt adhesive of a plate shape.
