PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a highly active and highly stereoregular polypropylene. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of polypropylene by polymerizing or copolymerizing propylene in the presence of a catalyst comprising a solid catalyst component essentially contg. magnesium, titanium, a halogen element, and an electron donor [A], an organoaluminum compd. component [B], and an org. silicon compd. component [C], the feed pump of the catalyst to a polymerization vessel is controlled with an inverter.
