PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber strip for forming a tire rubber member in which a flaw is prevented from being caused on the surface of the rubber strip and increase in the number of times for winding is controlled and lowering of production efficiency and generation of the residue of air are controlled. SOLUTION: The tire rubber member having a shape close to a finished sectional shape is formed by winding the rubber strip. The rubber strip consists of the body of the strip having 0.3-1.5 mm thickness T1 and lug parts which are arranged on both side parts of the body of the strip and have thickness T2 smaller than thickness T1 and also have 0.5-5.0 mm width W2.
