PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound absorbing panel having the NOx and SOx decomposing capability. SOLUTION: A metal plate 1 where a plurality of openings is formed is supported by a metal structure 2, a cloth-like sound absorbing material 3 is arranged between the metal plate 1 and the metal structure 2. The clearance between the metal structure 2 and the cloth-like sound absorbing material 3 is a rear air layer 5 effective for the sound absorbing characteristics of a low frequency area. The cloth-like sound absorbing material 3 is an inorganic fibrous woven or nonwoven fabric carrying a photocatalyst at 1 to 200 g/m2, and the air permeability is regulated at 2 to 400 cm3/cm2.sec. Light sources 4 to irradiate the cloth-like sound absorbing material 3 are arranged behind (a) or before (b) the cloth-like sound absorbing material 3. |
