PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving footboard for passenger transportation coated with a tread film excellent in adhesion to a surface of a moving footboard, having gentle feeling in its appearance, and excellent in feeling to the sole of a foot and a noise absorbing property. SOLUTION: Plural recessed grooves 1c are formed in a top part 1aa of protruded ridge 1a in each of protrusions out of plural protrusions and recesses, and the top part 1aa and insides of the grooves 1c are coated by a tread film 1d comprising a synthetic resin material having a good joining property and a noise absorbing property, in the moving footboard 1A for passenger transportation turned with the plural recesses and protrusions along an advancing direction.
