PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a ferroelectric article by sintering an unbound green article to form a final molded article, forming passage members on the surface at the top and bottom of the article and providing an orifice plate and a substrate, respectively, on the top surface and the bottom surface of the passage member. SOLUTION: Powder of a ferroelectric material is prepared 10 and subjected to spray drying 12 to produce a dried ferroelectric material which is then mixed with a bander system to form a compound material 14. Subsequently, the compound material is poured into a die to form a green article by low pressure molding 16. The green article is then unbound 20 and sintered 22 to form a final molded article. Thereafter, passage members are formed on the top surface and bottom surface of the article and an orifice plate and a substrate are provided, respectively, on the top surface and the bottom surface of the passage member.
