PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a water pool in a space between a belt and a belt pulley, and prevent the belt pulley from becoming rusty. SOLUTION: This device is composed of a V-belt 1 and a V-belt pulley 2, or a V-ribbed belt and a V-ribbed belt pulley. The V-belt pulley 2 or the V- ribbed belt pulley is provided with a hole 14 which extends from a groove bottom 12 toward the outside in an axial or radial direction of the V-belt pulley 2 or the V-ribbed belt pulley and opens toward a belt pulley side face 13a. Since the hole 14 functions as a drain hole, water pooled in a space 13 can be drained. Accordingly, the belt pulley 2 can be prevented from becoming rusty.
