摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always properly control wheel cylinder pressure by providing a response characteristic detecting means for detecting a response characteristic of solenoid valves, and correcting a driving signal according to the detected response characteristic in a hydraulic brake device for controlling the wheel cylinder pressure via the solenoid valves. SOLUTION: Solenoid valves for controlling supply/discharge of a brake fluid to wheel cylinders 44, 46 of left/right front wheels are controlled by an ECU 10. In detecting a response characteristic of holding solenoids 36, 38 and pressure reducing solenoids 52, 54 of the respective solenoid valves to a driving signal from this ECU 10, when an IG switch 84 is turned on, a shift lever is in a P range and a parking brake switch 88 is in an ON state, respective solenoids are driven to be turned on and off in the prescribed duty ratio. A change degree of wheel cylinder pressure, that is, a pressure increasing gradient and a pressure reducing gradient are determined from output of hydraulic sensors 80, 82. The response characteristic is determined according to this change degree correct the driving signal according to the detected response characteristic.
