CHEMICAL FILTER, ITS PRODUCTION AND ITS REGENERATING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regeneratable chemical filter having high removing efficiency of gaseous impurities. SOLUTION: In the chemical filter, a nonwoven fabric or a porous membrane is used as a filter element and a water-soluble acidic reaction agent or a water- soluble alkaline reaction agent is stuck to the filter element. Since the water soluble reaction agent is stuck, the reaction agent is easily removed by washing a spent chemical filter. Therefore, the regeneration of the chemical filter is easily executed by resticking the sticking agent after removing the sticking agent by washing.
