PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve assembly workability of a water pump, simplify driving structure, reduce the number of part items and processing main hours, reduce cost, and to improve reliability. SOLUTION: In a water pump structure of an internal combustion engine, wherein a magnet-type water pump 31 is mounted on the internal combustion engine main body, a shaft 32a of a rotor 32 driven by the internal combustion engine penetrates a case (left side power unit case 6a). A cover member 42 is disposed so as to cover a portion above the penetrating portion, and the cover member 42 covers the inside of the case of the internal combustion engine in an oil-tight manner. The cover member 42 is provided with an opening 42a that faces the shaft 32a of the rotor 32. An outer member 35 of the magnet-type water pump 31 is connected to the shaft 32a of the rotor 32. An inner member 56 of the magnet-type water pump 31 has, on the outside, an inlet 47 and an outlet for cooling water, and on the inside, has an outlet for cooling water, and on the inside, has an inner yoke 46 and an impeller 45 which are provided integrally. The inner member 56 is attached with support to the opening 42a of the cover member 42. The rotor 32 is an auxiliary rotor (timing cam 32) that rotates to decelerate the crank rotation of the internal combustion engine.
