PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a branched shield pipe jacking method, in which the assembly workload of an equipment for earth removal can be reduced remarkably and the safety of works can be ensured, and a branched pipe jacking shield machine. SOLUTION: Soil and sand excavated by the branched shield machine 40 are changed into slurry in a chamber and discharged by a slurry earth removal device at a stage when the machine 40 is branch-started, successively adding the drum members of the shield machine 40 in the case of the branch-starting of the branched shield machine 40, the slurry earth removal device is changed over to an earth pressure earth removal device 55 at a stage when the drum members of the machine 40 are added completely, and approximately the whole of the earth pressure earth removal device 55 can be assembled at a stretch by discharging soil and sand by the earth pressure earth removal device 55, thus also eliminating the need for pipe jacking while assembling screw conveyors broken into parts, then remarkably reducing the assembly workload of an equipment for earth removal.
