PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate solenoid installation in the case of the assembly of a shutter device and wiring works in a guide rail with the solenoid installation. SOLUTION: In the shutter device, in which an end section in the longitudinal direction of a shutter curtain 12 opened and closed by motor drive is guided along a guide rail 22 and the lowering of the shutter curtain 12 is stopped when the end slat 15 of the shutter curtain 12 during lowering for total closing sits on a lower frame, the first lock body 112 and the second lock body 132 are mounted at both end sections of another slat 14 of the end slat 15. When the end slat 15 sits on the lower frame, the first lock body 112 and the second lock body 132 can be engaged with the first stopper 120 and the second stopper 140 respectively, and opening from an outdoor section of the shutter curtain 12 is prevented.
