PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent cracking of a nipple installation welded portion by controlling the temperature rise thereof, and to prevent leakage of fluid therefrom, before their occurrence. SOLUTION: In this installation structure for a nipple 13, the nipple 13 is inserted through a duct plate 10 of an exhaust duct 8 through which high temperature exhaust gas flows. A casing 12 is expandingly provided, such that the nipple 13 penetrates a top portion 12a distanced from the duct plate outer surface to be welded thereto. The casing 12 has a prescribed capacity, and it is filled with a heat-insulating material 15.
