PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a metal coated glass cloth having high adhesivity to a metal film and excellent electromagnetic wave shielding effect by forming an electroless plating metal film through a vinyl chloride resin coating layer containing particulate powder on the surface of glass cloth. SOLUTION: The surface of a glass cloth is provided with a coating layer of a vinyl chloride resin containing particulate powder such as silicone dioxide. At least one electroless plating metal thin film layer selected from group of a metal such as Cu, Ni, Co, Fe, etc., and an alloy such as Ni-Cu, Fe-Ni, Fe-Co, etc., is formed by electroplating on the coating layer to give the objective metal coated glass cloth. |
