PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve strength and corrosion resistance and facilitate disuse by connecting the ends of a specified thick stainless steel pipe by welding to constitute a connection water supply pipe. SOLUTION: The ends of the stainless steel pipe of thickness of 2-4 mm are connected by welding to constitute a connection water supply pipe. For instance, tensile strength of 370 N/mm2 or more, elongation of 27% or more and proof stress of 215 N/mm2 or more are made standard values on the carbon steel pipe of a pipe diameter and thickness ofϕ114.3×t6.0/mm corresponding to scale module of 40, tensile strength of 520 N/mm2 or more, elongation of 32% or more and proof stress of 205 N/mm2 or more are made standard values on the stainless steel of a pipe diameter and thickness ofϕ114.3×t3.0/mm corresponding to scale module of 10, and the standard values of the thin stainless steel pipe ofϕ114.3×t2.0/mm are equal to those of the carbon steel pipe. In addition, if thickness is 4 mm or less, coupling can be sufficiently performed by one pass in TIG welding. Thus, the connected supply pipe welding the stainless steel pipe of thickness of 2-4 mm is excellent in strength and welding, and the service life is long.
