PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder return prevention device for a rotary feeder for force-feeding type pneumatic transport capable of preventing return of powder toward a feed inlet of the rotary feeder. SOLUTION: A rotary feeder 1 has a inflow port 5 facing to a hopper, and a discharge port 6 connected to a supply port 10 of a force-feeding type pneumatic transport line for particulate matter. The supply port 10 of the force-feeding type pneumatic transport line 9 is formed with a blowing-in hole 11 for purging air. A guide partition plate 12 whose upper end is close to the edge side of the discharge port 6 of the rotary feeder 1 is provided within the supply port 10 oppositely to the blowing-in hole 11, while a blowing-in hole 7 for the purging air is provided near the edge side of the discharge port 6 of a casing 2. The purging high-pressure air fed from both the blowing-in holes 7, 11 flows into a high-pressure air transport pipe.
