PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use only a small quantity of water without fear of generation of clogging up like a nozzle to reduce a running cost, and to reduce an initial cost, a maintenance cost and the like. SOLUTION: This sprinkler for a belt cleaner has a rotation shaft 33; paddle blades 34 made of flexible material each installed to the rotation shaft 33 in an outward projecting state; an abutment member 35 disposed along a tip moving route of the rotating paddle blades 34, abutting on the tips of the paddle blades 34 such that the abutment member 35 bends the paddle blades 34 to face the tips of the paddle blades 34 toward the upstream of a rotational direction and releases the bending; and a supply means for supplying water toward the downstream of the rotational direction of the bent paddle blades 34 on the abutment member 35.
