PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount an ornament on a cover main body without play and to prevent the ornament from being disengaged from the cover main body during actuation of an air bag. SOLUTION: This device has an airbag module 1 enclosed in a cover main body 2. In this case, an ornament 8 with a locking pin 8a projecting from its back face is made of a material softer than a locking member 9, and the locking pin 8a of the ornament 8 is inserted from above into a mounting hole 2a formed in the cover main body 2. A locking portion 8c projecting from the end of the locking pin 8a is fitted into a through-hole in the locking member 9 located on the back of the cover main body 2, and the locking part 9 locks the locking part 8c of the locking pin 8a so as to secure the ornament 8 to the cover main body 2. |
