PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide welding equipment capable of preventing deformation due to welding and efficiently welding the inner face four corners of a fuel storage cell of an used fuel storage rack. SOLUTION: An used fuel storage rack 1, in which lattice like plural fuel storage cells assembling plane and band like lattice plates are formed to a lattice shape, is held by a holding device 2, and welding heads 4a, 4b of welding machines 3a, 3b are inserted into the fuel storage cell of the used fuel storage rack 1 held by the holding device 2. The inner four corners of the fuel storage cell are welded by welding torches 6a, 6b with doubled shield gas.
