NOZZLE FOR ATTRACTING CHIP PART AND MANUFACTURE OF THE NOZZLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nozzle for attracting a chip part being excellent in wear resistance and to provide manufacture of the nozzle. SOLUTION: This method is executed such that electric discharge machining is made on a material block consisting of a binding thin layer 2 of diamond powder sintered in a state to be formed integrally with the surface layer part of a powder sintered substance 1 of cemented carbide. In this case, this method comprises a process wherein a tip part 1a is formed of a binding thin layer 2 of diamond powder, a base end part 1b consists of a power sintered substance 1 of cemented carbide and a nozzle tip member A1 having a nozzle hole 4A extending from a tip part 1a through to a base end part 1b is produced; a process wherein the base end part of a nozzle tip member is securely mounted on a nozzle body member with an axially formed air flow hole; and a process wherein electric discharge machining is applied to the nozzle tip member, which is machined in a given outer shape.
