摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of exhaust gas purifying performance by promoting mixing of pre-mixtured air-fuel for main combustion and additional fuel. SOLUTION: With respect to a control unit for an in-cylinder injection engine 1, where fuel is directly injected into a combustion chamber 3 at least during an intake stroke, a fuel injection quantity is calculated by means of an injection quantity calculation means 34, based on engine operating conditions. A first fuel injection control means 35 controls a fuel injection means 9, so that the calculated quantity of fuel is injected directly into the combustion chamber 3 during the intake stroke. A compensation quantity calculating means 36 calculates the compensation quantity of fuel, based on an intake air quantity detected by an intake air quantity detection means, until the last stage of the intake stroke. A second fuel injection control means 37 controls the fuel injection means 9, so that the calculated quantity of fuel for compensation is injected into the combustion chamber from the last stage of the intake stroke.
