PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous carbonization unit having effects of improvement of heat efficiency, simplification of facilities, and miniaturization of a unit by continuously drying and carbonizing an org. waste, e.g. bean curd lees, residual food, etc., under indirect heating. SOLUTION: An org. waste is input from a sealed input device through the inlet of an outer cylinder 10 into an annular space formed by an inner cylinder 3 and the outer cylinder 2, and is heated indirectly by heat transfer from inside the inner cylinder 3 while moving, and is ejected from the outlet of the outer cylinder 11 to an annular space formed by the outer cylinder 2 and another cylinder 1, and is heated indirectly by heat transfer from a heating room 4 and drying and carbonization are finished while moving to the final exit 6, and finally it is ejected.
