PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collecting device capable of cleaning in running at higher speeds by preventing capacities of cleaning by right and left side brushes from making a big difference and further shortening a time for transportation by air flow. SOLUTION: A right side dust swept out by the rotation of a right side-brush 4 and a sweep-out brush 7 is taken into a sucking device 10 without almost a time difference from a left side dust swept out by the rotation of a left side- brush 5. The width of the sucking device 10 itself is reduced so that even dust taken into the sucking device 10 at a position apart mostly from a sucking port 34 is positioned nearer the sucking port 34 than before and its air flow transportation time is also shorter than before. Thus, the dust swept out between the right and left side-brushes 4 and 5 is sucked into the sucking port without almost a time difference, and any large difference of cleaning capacity is not made between the right and left side-brushes 4 and 5.
